Innovation & collaboration Showcase Panelist's Bios:

 

Dr. Shanthi Gopalakrishnan (moderator),Professor of management and associate dean at the NJIT School of Management. Dr. Gopalakrishnan worked in industry before coming to NJIT to teach courses in business policy and technology management.  She conducts research in innovation management and the strategic management of knowledge and has published extensively in her field. Dr. Gopalakrishnan is a member of the Academy of Management, past president of the Eastern Academy of Management, and an editorial board member of  IEEE Transactions in Engineering Management and Group and Organization Management.
               

Lindsey C. Holmes, has owned a successful Digital Marketing/PR and Mobile Application Development agency, LCH Business Social Media & Tech, for the past seven years, and boasts such clients as the NAACP, BET, The Minority Media & Telecom Council (MMTC), and NJPAC. A graduate of Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY, she has used her writing background, marketing and business training, and self-taught programming skills to become a key player in the Web 2.0 industry.
              

Caren Martineau, Partner H M E Brand Management. Caren has spent her lifetime immersed in the process of invention, equally comfortable with creative expression as she is developing strategy or managing the workflow of concurrent deliverables. Recipient of many awards and industry accolades. Caren has been recognized for her work as an art director/graphic designer, executive producer, writer and entrepreneur. She has been profiled in Business Week, Art Director's Magazine, Communication Arts, Billboard, Zoom International and her work included in a museum collection.
              

Peggy McHale, Founder Consultants2Go, LLC (C2G), an award winning consulting firm that provides marketing solutions to Fortune 500 companies in the Financial Services, Telecom, and Life Sciences industries. C2G was named in the Inc. 500/5000 list as one of the fastest growing companies in the United States. Ms. McHale is also the co-author of Black and White Strike Gold: Practical Nuggets to Grow Your Business. . Ms. McHale holds an MBA in Finance and is devoted to many philanthropic causes and women's organizations.
              

Dr. Nancy Steffen-Fluhr, Director of NJIT's Murray Center for Women in Technology and the Principal Investigator on a $1.25 million grant from the National Science Foundation. An associate professor in the Humanities Department, she teaches courses in gender and technology, science fiction, and computer-mediated collaborative writing.
              

Jeanne Sullivan, a founding principal of StarVest and previously with Olivetti Ventures. Ms. Sullivan has served on the boards of sixteen private and two public companies and has extensive experience creating go to market plans for expansion stage companies. Her expertise also includes strategy, an understanding of the technology landscape and industry trends. Ms. Sullivan holds a BS from the University of Illinois and a JD from Creighton University School of Law. She is active with the Natural Resource Defense Council (NRDC), a nonprofit New York City-based organization that lobbies for environmental reform, established the New York area Environmental Entrepreneurs group and was part of the founding group for the New York New Media Association Angel Investors Program.
